Cozy VoxBox

Cozy VoxBox

The newest VoxBox I received is called the Cozy VoxBox. This VoxBox is said to contain products that are sure to get you through Fall! Let’s take a look at what’s inside!

Simple Skincare Cleansing Facial Wipes $5.99 (25 wipes)
I’ve received quite a few Simple Skincare products in previous subscriptions boxes and have liked the products so much that I’ve purchased full sizes. I’ve even purchased these wipes and I really like them. They’re definitely good to have on hand. Especially for a beauty blogger!

Cozy VoxBox

Maybelline SuperStay 24 Longwear Lip Color in 25 Keep Up The Flame

Maybelline SuperStay 24 Longwear Lip Color $9.49
I was happy to see this little gem included in the box. I received the shade 25 Keep Up The Flame. It’s a beautiful red shade. On one end you have the lip color which gets applied first. On the other end you have the ultra-conditioning balm which seals in moisture. This gets applied after the lip color has fully dried down. You will need an oil based makeup remover to remove it.

I really like the shade. While it’s nothing overly exciting, you can’t go wrong with a nice long lasting red! And it is long lasting! I don’t know about the 24 hour claim though. I’ve never worn my makeup that long. It applied nice and evenly. It was pretty comfortable and didn’t feel drying.

I like this lipstick a lot. I’ll definitely pick up a few shades. But probably not too many because there really isn’t a lot of product in that tiny tube. Which is my only complaint.

Pilot FriXion Clicker

Cozy VoxBox

Pilot FriXion Clicker

Pilot FriXion Clicker $6.99 (3-pack)
These pens are pretty cool looking. They’re retractable and erasable! My son was pretty excited to try them out and insisted that I give him the blue one. He has a thing for pens and pencils. If he says it’s good… it’s good!

Daisy Squeeze Sour Cream $2.79
I actually don’t use sour cream unless I’m baking. I love adding sour cream to baked goods. I have a few cupcake recipes that call for sour cream and it really makes for a more moist and rich cupcake. Daisy is the only brand I buy too. So I definitely put the free product coupon to good use. And right in time for all of the holiday baking!

Country Crock Buttery Spread $1.99-$3.12
I remember this big ol tub of butter sitting in my fridge when I was younger. It was my parent’s brand of choice. I personally use a non-dairy brand for myself. However, when I bake I use dairy based sticks. And that’s what this will be used for. I guess by Cozy they meant sitting at home under a big warm blanket munching on cookies and cupcakes. Hah!

This was a fun box! Everything I received is either something I purchase regularly or something I would consider purchasing. I especially like the addition of the sour cream and butter because like I said, tis the season! I’ve got a ton of baking to do!

*I received these products complimentary. I was not paid or compensated in any way to write this review. All opinions are completely my own.

Wet n Wild Autumn Lush Collection

Purchased By Me

Wet n Wild Autumn Lush Collection

Wet n Wild Autumn Lush Collection

I never planned to purchase this collection. When I heard about the Wet n Wild Sequins and Stardust Holiday Collection, I went crazy looking for it. After searching about 25 stores over a whole weekend I finally stumbled upon a display at a Five Below. But there were no gold bar palettes and only a few pigments. I grabbed the few pigments that were available and sulked all the way to the counter. But before I got there I spotted the Autumn Lush display. It looked really nice and since I was sure the Sequins and Stardust Collection was a lost cause, I grabbed everything on the display. Well, everything except the other eyeshadow trio which really didn’t appeal to me.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Trio in Velour Vixen
Sometimes I come across a Wet n Wild eyeshadow palette that surprises the heck out of me. This, my friends, is one of those times! I mean seriously… look at those swatches! The brow bone shade is on the powdery side, but you can still work with it. The crease shade is incredibly beautiful and pigmented! The eyelid shade is also really pretty and nicely pigmented. I actually applied this how it suggests. I did wet my brush a bit before applying the lid shade though. Then I pressed the shadow onto my lid. I really wanted it to be dramatic. I used the crease shade for my lower lash line. I used the gold bar highlighter on the inner corner of my eye. Yep, I got it eventually!

This impressive little trio was super easy to apply and blend. I did experience a bit of fallout from the lid shade, but it is on the shimmery side. It faded and creased a bit around the 6 hour mark. This is definitely one of the nicer eyeshadow palettes Wet n Wild has to offer. I love it so much that if I spot another one, I’m scooping it up. You can see Velour Vixen in action below.

Swatches: Don’t Be A Plum Plum, How Fleek Is Your Love, Take It Like A Vamp, Too Tulip To Quit

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in Don’t Be A Plum Plum
This is a very gorgeous vampy shade that just screams Autumn! It’s a little on the watery side. It can be a little tricky to work with. I had to use a brush to help smooth out the application. It can look a little patchy, but it wasn’t so bad once it fully dried down.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in Don’t Be A Plum Plum

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in How Fleek Is Your Love
I was very impressed with this shade. It had a nice creamy texture. It was super easy to apply. It applied nice and evenly. It was transfer-proof and felt pretty lightweight. It made for a nice comfortable wear and lasted through the day.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in How Fleek Is Your Love

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in Take It Like A Vamp
I was so disappointed with this shade. The texture was a little on the watery side. Application was a nightmare! It never evened out and was a huge patchy, streaky, mess. What’s worse is that it dries down much faster than the others leaving you with very little time to perfect the application. Once it starts to dry, forget it. If you try and go in to clean it up it starts to flake off. I don’t get it. I’ve seen other swatches where it looks even and just… amazing! But mine was a mess! Maybe I got a bad batch? It could have been the applicator? It was much wider and fuzzier than the others.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in Too Tulip To Quit
This shade was also very easy to work with. It’s right up there with How Fleek Is Your Love. I don’t really think the pink screams Autumn, but it’s still a beautiful shade and it performs well.

Wet n Wild Coloricon Matte Liquid Lipstick in Too Tulip To Quit

Overall, I think it’s a great collection. 3 out of the 4 lipsticks were amazing while the other one just didn’t perform well. Which is a shame because it’s a gorgeous shade and would have been perfect for Autumn. The eyeshadow trio is beautiful and the shades really compliment each other. It made for a gorgeous Autumn look!

Moroccan Amber scented candle from NEST Fragrances

I’m sure that whatever it is you’re looking for, you can find it on BeautyKind. There’s definitely something for everyone. I’ve even spotted a few newer items. Like these two items that BeautyKind sent to me. Goldfaden MD. The Brightening Elixir which addresses concerns of photo-damaged skin leaving it hydrated, clear, and radiant. And the Moroccan Amber scented candle from NEST Fragrances. I’m still testing out The Brightening Elixir, but I can tell you that the Moroccan Amber candle smells amazing! The Moroccan amber, sweet patchouli, heliotrope, and bergamot with a hint of eucalyptus make for a very calm and relaxing scent. Even though this candle is on the pricey side, I can definitely see myself purchasing another. It seriously smells that nice!

Have you heard of BeautyKind? If a company gives back, does that affect your decision on whether or not to shop with them?

*An earlier version of this post made mention of a rewards/referral program. As it turns out that program is no longer active. I like to be very thorough and try my best to research before posting. Unfortunately, sometimes the information available isn’t up to date. Which is the case in this situation. I do apologize for the confusion.
