PR Sample/Purchased By Me
This is easily one of my favorite posts to write up every year. My favorite products of the year. Even though some of the products from my 2017 Favorites are still getting tons of use this year. What I like to do is run through my posts throughout the entire year and gather up my 10 favorite products. It’s a lot more difficult than it sounds. But I managed to narrow my list down to 10 favorites. Let’s take a look!
ColourPop Ooh La La! Palette
I told you this palette was going to make it to my 2018 Favorites. It’s such a beautiful little palette. The shades all compliment each other beautifully. They are incredibly pigmented. And the looks I created are easily some of my favorites.
Bath By Bex CBD Bath Bombs & Life Flower CBD Bath Bombs
2018 was year of the CBD for me. I started getting into it toward the end of 2017 right around the time my husband had surgery. I was a nervous wreck and my anxiety was at an all time high. My husband actually got me some products to try and I’ve been experimenting ever since. While I love the effects of the oils and edibles, the bath bombs are a real treat. There’s nothing I love more than a nice, relaxing, hot bath. These CBD bath bombs take the relaxation part to a whole new level. They make for the most relaxing bath ever! It relaxes my muscles by easing aches, pains, and tension. And it helps me to sleep better at night. If you take anything away from this list, let it be these bath bombs. There are many places that make them, but these 2 are my favorites so far.
Wet n Wild Highlighting Bar in Platinum
I was really excited to see that Wet n Wild added to their Gold Bar Highlighter Collection. I remember going everywhere to try and track them down. Once I had the chance to test them all I found that the Platinum Bar was my favorite. It has been one of my most reached for highlighters ever since.
Derma E Hydrating Facial Wipes
This year I was diagnosed with rosacea. I had to replace a lot of my skin care products. Wipes especially. These are incredibly gentle on my super sensitive skin and they smell so nice! I now have a drawer full of them.
The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer
This year I finally got around to testing out some of The Ordinary products. Some of them worked out and others didn’t. This primer on the other hand really impressed me. I know a lot of people say that they don’t feel like primers make much of a difference. But I swear this primer helps my makeup to go on smoother and makes it look more even. All for just under $5.00!
e.l.f. Heart Defensor Highlighter Palette
Boy did it ever take me a while to finally get my hands on this highlighter! I can definitely see what the fuss was all about. Everything about this highlighter was a hit. The packaging and the pigmentation. It currently sits in my most reached for drawer alongside the majority of these items.
Jouer Lip Topper in Sweetheart
This year Jouer has become a favorite brand of mine. I found myself drawn to quite a few of their new products. If I had to narrow it down to one favorite it would have to be the Lip Topper in Sweetheart. It’s the most gorgeous red with pink and gold flecks. I reach for it often.
Esqido The Unisyn Collection
I could hardly contain my excitement when I opened this beautiful package. These lashes are gorgeous! I love the packaging too. Not only do they display the beauty that is these lashes, but they slide in and out making access that much easier. Photographing these lashes was a lot of fun.
Bad Habit Beauty Athena Palette
When I first heard about this palette it was sold out for a while. Once it came back in stock I ordered it. I think it’s my favorite Bad Habit Beauty Palette. I was really impressed with the quality of the shadows. They’re so pigmented and they apply and blend beautifully. Hard to believe that it’s just $14.00. My review states $12.00. It has since gone up in price. But even with the increase it’s still a great price.
Sky Organics Organic Rosewater Facial Mist
Another product that I heard was great for rosacea is rose water. I wasn’t sure which one to try and then I happened to stumble upon this one from Sky Organics. I apply it after cleansing in the morning and night. It does wonders for flareups instantly soothing my sensitive skin.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
I had to add a bit of a bonus favorite. Like I mentioned earlier, I was diagnosed with rosacea this year and had to replace a lot of my skin care products. A lot of my go-to cleansers were causing more harm than good. I have to admit that it took me a long time to get used to this cleanser. It’s highly recommended for those of us with certain skin conditions such as rosacea. Once I got used to it I found that I actually love it. I feel like it can be a little heavy at times, but it removes makeup all while being incredibly gentle. It doesn’t dry out my skin. It’s a lot easier to purchase since most stores carry it and I can even use coupons.
Girl I LOVE me a good bath and sol I have got to try those bath bombs! I love anything to give me an excuse to have a nice long relaxing soak. LOL… I love the Jouer lip toppers too! I first tried them last year when Skinny Dip was so popular and I bought 3 others because I loved that one so much. And every time I wear them i always get compliments. I need to go check out what new stuff they have in. I can’t believe I did not know about the Elf HL, will deff see if I can order one to try. Great faves Lisa! Happy 2019!!!!
I think you’d love the bath bombs. They are super relaxing! Everyone I told about them loved them too.
Yes their Lip Toppers are amazing! I don’t think I’ve tried Skinny Dip though.
Happy 2019 to you too! <3
CBD bath bombs are something I’d love to try in 2019! :D

Happy New Year to you too! Please let me know if you do try them. I’d love to hear what you think. :)
The ohh lala palettes is one of my favorites! It’s so pretty and colorful. I wanted to get the elf highlight but I never got my hands on it 😩
Ooh La La is too pretty! And I think the highlighter is still in stock on their website.
I love roundup posts for the year – you should do a worst products too! THOSE are my favorite kinds to read/watch. The only product in your list that I own is the Athena palette, but recently just purchased it, so not sure how I feel yet. Good to know though it made your favorites list! I also STILL have my eye on the Ooh La La CP palette, but …working on that self-discipline! :)
Oh what a great idea! I’ll have to make note of some duds to get that ball rolling. :)
The thing with ColourPop is that their stuff is so affordable that I don’t feel so bad splurging a bit. Plus they are always having sales. They make it too easy lol.
