Swatches: Rose Spritz, Amaretto, Pamplemousse, Champagne Pop, Prosecco Pop

Last year I resisted the urge to splurge on the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop. I really wanted it, but I was hoping to pick it up in person. My local Sephora didn’t even carry Becca products back then. I was hoping to see it in person when I went to New Jersey, but of course they were sold out. I had every chance to order online, but held back. And boy am I glad I did because this collection is so much nicer!

The packaging is super pretty! It’s not the easiest product to photograph because it’s so shiny and the inside is all mirror. I’m actually pretty bummed about it though because it’s easily one of the prettiest items I’ve purchased in a while. I really wanted that to shine through in my photos. I tried?

The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette contains 3 blushes in Rose Spritz, Amaretto and Pamplemousse and 2 highlighters in Champagne Pop and Prosecco Pop. They’re all very pigmented. In fact the first shade I used was Pamplemousse and I had to use a very light hand. It’s almost too easy to get carried away with this beauty. I usually really pack on the color so that it shows up in my photos, but with this shade I was afraid of going overboard. I may have repeatedly whispered ‘Please don’t make me look like a clown…’ while applying it hah! But all jokes aside it did apply and blend beautifully.

I’ll definitely post more looks of me using this gorgeous palette later on. But in the meantime you can see Pamplemousse and Champagne Pop in action below.

Wishing you all a happy and safe Memorial Day!

    • Awww thanks, Chris! I always try my best, but mostly left feeling like it’s never good enough. I’m too much of a perfectionist I guess lol. :)

  4. Sometimes waiting pays off. I am not a fan of highlighters or palettes, but I have heard the buzz about that one.

  5. Wow! A really pretty palette. I’ll probably pass on this as highlight isn’t my jam, but this palette is definitely eye candy ~ so so pretty.

  6. I really like the look of this palette, and I think it’s also a good value, so I’m very tempted. But I have no intention to stalk Sephora’s website for it or fight in the mud to get it in a store, so I don’t know if I’ll ever get my hands on it! The first release sold out in a few hours, but I heard they’re doing another release in June. I’m so annoyed by this strategy of making products scarce and hard to get in order to amp the buzz… :/

    • You know, I was standing in the kitchen cooking and happened to glance at my phone and saw on IG that it was live, but you had to ‘search’ for it. I was so annoyed. I’m like yeah ok I’ll go jump through your hoops. NOT. Then I went back to cooking, stopped, and proceeded to hoop jump. I hate it too. But it wouldn’t be the first time I stalked for something I really really wanted. And it really is a great price for all that you’re getting. I tried to be strong, but I really did good waiting it out the first time around and felt I should be rewarded lol. :(

  7. omg..I so want this one…the packaging is indeed beautiful :*

  10. I am really trying to not get this palette! haha I know you understand. I think I’ll be getting the liquid formula for this one instead as I adore that formula the most.

    • Awww thank you so much! :)

That’s too bad! I kind of know how you feel. I mean I can always get things online if I’m quick enough, but I’d much rather see things in person first. I can’t always do that because there’s only one Sephora nearby and it’s tiny! They don’t carry much.
