It’s been a while since I’ve shown ColourPop some love. Believe it or not I have a bunch of ColourPop stuff to post still. I don’t even think I’ve gotten started on the highlighters. Those will have to wait though because I still have a bunch of Ultra Matte Lip products to post. Starting with Seesaw!

Seesaw is described as a pastel lavender pink. I feel like it looks much darker on my lips. It looks much more pastel on everyone else but me. I’m not complaining though. I think it’s a really pretty shade. It applied nicely and felt comfortable for a while. It felt a little drying after about 4-5 hours, but it wasn’t too bad. It still looked pretty good at the end of the day. You can see Seesaw in action below.

Now this has me feeling a little more upbeat and excited for Spring!

I’m still alive and kicking. Mostly. Things get pretty hectic around house Guevara during the holidays. I’m so far behind that we haven’t even set up our Christmas tree yet. We usually set it up Thanksgiving night. It’s tradition. After our Thanksgiving meal (which was delish) we went to visit my mother-in-law and was there for quite a while. Later on the husband and I rushed home to get started on a little project for our son. We gave his room a huge make-over. All new furniture, window treatments, etc. It was a very long day. I really wish I could have taken some time to stop by here and wish you all a happy and safe Thanksgiving, but it was all really time consuming. I really do hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving though. For those of you who celebrate it.

And now back to more liquid lipsticks. ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Ouiji is a bright coral red. This beauty really brightened things up around here. It’s been so rainy and gloomy. It was nice to rock a bit of color to liven things up a bit. It’s easily one of the prettiest liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. I’ll probably have to tuck it away for Spring and Summer though. Like all of the other ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products Ouiji applied nice and evenly. It was a nice comfortable wear and lasted quite a while. I feel like at this point I’m just repeating myself over and over again. But I doubt I’ll have anything bad to say about these lipsticks unless I come across one that is super drying. And so far that hasn’t been the case. You can see Ouiji in action below.

As far as Midwest Glam goes, I do have a ton of posts that I’m working on. The husband even got me the pink tool box that sits on top of my larger one. You know what that means? More lipstick storage! And maybe another post on how I have it all organized. Once I figure it out that is. I haven’t even gotten to it yet. And I promise to catch up on all of your posts this week. I might fall a little behind, but I always catch up. Bear with me, guys!

My monthly wishlist post is going to be a little late this week too. I don’t even know what I want/need. And with that shiny $20 off $50 Sephora gift card that just came in the mail I need to figure it out and fast. Before all the good stuff is gone. See what happens when you fall just a little behind?

And we’re back to more liquid lipsticks! Woo!

I’ll just jump back in with ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Midi. Midi is described as a soft neutral beige. I purchased this along with Trap and was a little worried that they might be too similar. But as you can see they’re not. They’re both gorgeous nudes, but definitely very different.

Like all of the other Ultra Matte Lip products I’ve tried, Midi is on the watery side, but applies nice and evenly. It makes for a nice comfortable and lightweight wear. Like I said before, these are probably the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I’ve tried. I will continue to buy the heck out of these lipsticks because they have yet to let me down.

There’s really not much else to say. It’s a great lipstick and I love it. It’s the perfect soft pinkish nude. And I’m really loving it paired with the bolder shades of my Kat Von D Mi Vida Loca Remix Palette. I told y’all I would do more looks! I’m not so sure I can pull off the teal, but it’s such a fun shade to work with. And I really wanted to actually wear it rather than just apply it on my lower lash line like I usually do. I’m still experimenting with it.
