Swatch

Let me just start off by saying that they named this shade appropriately, because Mars is out of this world! Hah! See what I did there?

Mars is a gorgeous red fuchsia. Seriously, this bad boy just screams glam! Well, I feel glamorous when I wear it anyway. Just like Creeper it’s on the watery side and dries very quickly. However, it applies nicely and evenly. It’s very comfortable and lightweight. It lasted all day long with a little fading toward the end of the night. I found this shade to be a little drying. It’s not so bad, but I did notice it after a few hours. It’s still a comfortable wear though. And I seriously can’t get over just how pretty this shade is.

Kiss Kiss

In case I didn’t say it enough times I really love this shade. And Creeper too. So far I’m really impressed with the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products. I really can’t wait to dig into the other shades. I’m already planning another order. Even though I have like a hundred other items on my wishlist. Beauty blogger problems.

Have you tried any of the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products? What do you think about them?

Swatch

I finally got my hands on some of the new ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products! I seriously thought it would be MONTHS before I would be able to try these out. Kudos to ColourPop for a speedy restock!

Creeper is a true classic blue red. I rarely rock a red lip, but when I do I’m always amazed at how much I love it. Anyway, Creeper wasn’t creamy like some of my other liquid lipsticks. It was on the watery side. It didn’t drip all over and make a mess or anything, but I noticed this right away. The applicator wasn’t as soft and comfortable as some of my other liquid lipsticks, but application was still easy. The lipstick applied nice and evenly and dried very quickly. It would even dry up really fast on the applicator. I had to work very quickly when I went in with my lip brush to fill in and smooth things out. It’s not a big deal really. I just had to dip the wand back in to pick up more color.

This is probably one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I own! It’s so incredibly lightweight. Even after hours of wear it’s still comfortable. It’s not even the tiniest bit drying either. The color stayed put all day long with just a bit of fading on the inside on my lips, but it was barely noticeable. I’m just going to say that this is the perfect red! On a night out where only a red lip will do, you can bet your sweet buns that I’ll be rocking Creeper. Because I know that it will stay put and feel comfortable while looking all sorts of awesome. Swatches

And we’re back to the ColourPop goodies! I decided to take a little break between posting all of my recent ColourPop purchases to add a little variety. I’ve seriously got way too many ColourPop posts drafted. Anyway, during my last ColourPop haul I grabbed a few of the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters. Tasty seemed like a fun one to start with.

Tasty is described as a candy colored coral with multi-dimensional pink and copper duo-chrome finishes. It’s super creamy! It’s even creamier than the blushes that I’ve tried so far. It just glides onto your skin! I really like how easily it applied. I didn’t have to do much building up either, but I did so that my camera would pick up the awesomeness that is Tasty. You can see Tasty in action below.

I’m really digging the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters so far. And Tasty really was a fun one to start with.

I’m going to have to invest in some more highlighting brushes so that I can experiment more. What’s YOUR go to highlighting brush?
