And we’re back to the ColourPop goodies! I decided to take a little break between posting all of my recent ColourPop purchases to add a little variety. I’ve seriously got way too many ColourPop posts drafted. Anyway, during my last ColourPop haul I grabbed a few of the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters. Tasty seemed like a fun one to start with.

Tasty is described as a candy colored coral with multi-dimensional pink and copper duo-chrome finishes. It’s super creamy! It’s even creamier than the blushes that I’ve tried so far. It just glides onto your skin! I really like how easily it applied. I didn’t have to do much building up either, but I did so that my camera would pick up the awesomeness that is Tasty. You can see Tasty in action below.

I’m really digging the ColourPop Super Shock Cheek Highlighters so far. And Tasty really was a fun one to start with.

I’m going to have to invest in some more highlighting brushes so that I can experiment more. What’s YOUR go to highlighting brush?

When I placed my last ColourPop order I decided to grab a few more of their Super Shock Cheek blushes. I loved Rain so much that I had to try a few other shades. And Get Leid seems like the perfect Summer friendly shade! Also, I kind of like the name.

Get Leid is described as a bright warm peach with a matte finish. It’s velvety smooth and applies and blends easily. It doesn’t look as bold once applied to my cheeks which I like. It can easily be built up, but I was afraid my cheeks were going to be neon peach. Totally not what I was aiming for. It’s a really beautiful peach blush that gives you that nice Summer glow! I’m also really digging it paired with my Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree. You can see Get Leid in action below.

Like with Rain, I applied Get Leid with my fingers and blended it out with my buffer brush. Also, it appears that my liner is thicker on one side. My husband claims it’s the angle, but I don’t know. Maybe look past that? Hah!

Swatch

A few weeks ago ColourPop had a great promotion to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. If you placed an order you got this beauty for free. It’s a limited edition shade in Birthday Girl which is a pretty golden bronze color all wrapped up in a pretty pink packaging. I like the addition of the cupcake just above their name. Because cupcakes are awesome!

Of course I had to place an order immediately after finding out about the promotion. I’m a sucker for limited edition packaging, but I’m also a sucker for ColourPop. At this rate I’m going to need a pink tool box dedicated to all of my ColourPop stuffs. I feel like I’ve said this before? Anyway, I’m surprised that it’s been a year already. I remember placing my first order with them around this time last year. I’ve been a fan since day one and so long as they keep the goods coming I’ll continue to be.

Back to Birthday Girl, it’s a really pretty eyeshadow. It’s on the glittery side, but I’ve come a long way with all things glitter and can now appreciate it in all its glory. So long as it’s not excessive. You can see Birthday Girl in action below.

Were you able to get Birthday Girl? Are you a fellow ColourPop fangirl?
