I purchased this palette shortly after it was first released. Back then it would sell out rather quickly. So I was excited when I finally got my hands on it. But that changed once I finally received my palette and saw how messy it was. A few of the shadows were broken and dinged pretty badly. It just didn’t photograph well. ColourPop was nice enough to replace it, but even the replacement arrived messy. This was right around the time they had launched their empty palettes. So I ordered a few of them and transferred the shadows into one of their empty palettes. Which is why my Yes, Please! Palette looks like this. I’m very big on presentation. I’ll do what I can to clean things up, but it doesn’t always work out.

The Yes, Please! Palette contains 12 eyeshadows. It’s full of the most beautiful shades of orange, red, and gold. It even contains a really nice base and brow bone shade! I feel like you can easily create a fairly neutral look with this palette, but when I look at it all I can think is bold! However, even the bolder looks I’ve created with this palette are still very wearable. Despite my palette’s condition, I feel like it was really beautifully put together. The shadows compliment each other beautifully! They are nicely pigmented. And they blend like a dream! I absolutely love the looks I’ve created with this palette. And they can easily be worn year round!

You can see one of my go-to looks using the Yes, Please! Palette below.

Overall, I’d have to say it’s a beautiful palette! I know these types of shades are pretty popular right now so it’s definitely dupable. However, you really can’t beat the price. If you’re able to scoop it up I don’t think you’d be disappointed. Unless of course yours arrives messy too.

At this point I’m kind of digging through the stash looking for things I haven’t blogged yet. When I saw this lonely quad from ColourPop I was surprised because I had transferred the others into larger palettes. Then I remembered that I hadn’t blogged it yet which is why it was still in the original quad palette.

This is the Pressed Powder Shadow Palette in Belle of the Ball. I feel bad for sharing it a year and a half later especially since you can’t even find these quads on ColourPop’s site anymore. But it was too pretty not to share. I’m sure you could easily find dupes for these shades and create your own palette. Most of their palettes contain similar shades anyway. In fact the shade Soft Core is featured in the Ooh La La Palette.

Anyway, I just had to get Belle of the Ball. It came out right around the time they first launched their pressed shadows. The pink shades really stood out to me. As you can probably tell from the swatches they are nicely pigmented. Secrets is the only shade that doesn’t really show well on my lid. I did apply it in my crease, but I’m not sure if you can even notice it. They all blended beautifully.

You can see a look I created with the ColourPop Pressed Shadow Palette in Belle of the Ball below. I applied Secrets, Soft Core and Fair Play in my Crease, On the Fence on my lid, and a combination of Soft Core and Fair Play on my lower lash line.

Overall, I’d have to say it was a gorgeous little palette. The quality is everything I’ve come to expect from ColourPop. It’s no surprise that their products make the majority of my collection.

Of course I had to sneak one last ColourPop product in before the year ends. When I saw that Ulta was getting TWO ColourPop palettes exclusive to them I had to break my Ulta ban and order one. The Rendezvous Palette had my name all over it! Just look at those shades!

The Rendezvous Palette contains 12 eyeshadows. It’s a nice balance of metallics and mattes. The bolder shades are what really stood out to me. As you can tell from the swatches they are nicely pigmented. Textual is the only shadow that needed to be built up a bit. It’s a tad patchy too. It applies much better on the lid and does blend out ok, but it’s definitely not one of their better mattes. It’s still cooperative though. You just have to work with it a little. Aside from that the other shades applied and blended beautifully. I’ve already created a few looks with this palette.

I’m really trying to get in the habit of creating at least 2 different looks to go along with palette reviews. Even though I do reach for my palettes more than once, I rarely follow up and share my other looks. So I’m going to try and do just that going into the new year.

Anyway, you can see a few looks I created with the Rendezvous Palette below.

The gloss I’m wearing in the first look is Dust2Dust from the Flying Colours Liquid Lipstick Vault. I’m trying to work shades I haven’t swatched yet into looks so that you can see them all.

Overall, I’d have to say it’s another great palette from ColourPop. If you’re into bold colorful shades I think you’ll love it.
