MAC Eye Shadow X9: Burgundy Times Nine

Purchased By Me
When I made my MAC Cinderella collection purchase I decided to pick up the Burgundy Times Nine palette as well. I really do love my MAC palettes! And this one really jumped out at me. The shadows are smaller than the average pan size. However, I personally like having more shadows in a smaller package. It’s like a sampling of lots of pretty shadows that compliment each other nicely. It’s also perfect for traveling (which I’ve been doing a lot more of lately).
There are 4 X9 palettes total. Amber, Purple, Navy, and Burgundy. Burgundy contains Honey Lust (bronze dipped peach/lustre), Poppyseed (midtone mauvey nude/satin), Quarry (soft muted plum brown/matte), Antiqued (ash brown with bronze/veluxe pearl), Embark (intense reddish brown/matte), #Noir (deep black brown w/ gold pearls/velvet), Haux (soft muted rosy brown/satin), Star Violet (pinky brown plum/veluxe pearl), and Sketch (burgundy with red shimmer/velvet). Surprisingly I don’t have any of these shades in my collection already which made my decision that much easier. I’m really loving Star Violet! It’s just so pretty!
Below you can see a look I created using this palette. I used Star Violet on my lid (I actually slightly wet it with my Fix+ before applying it), Haux in my crease, Sketch in my outer crease and lower lash line (I slightly wet it with Fix+ before applying to lower lash line), and Honey Lust on the inner corner of my eye and brow bone.
Did you get any of the X9 palettes? If so, which one? What are your thoughts?
