Swatch

I had purchased this lipstick a while back, but haven’t been able to post it. I actually have a few of these OCC Lip Tar RTW on my wishlist. I started off with one to see how I like it. Here are my thoughts!

I decided to start with the shade Strange & Unusual. It’s described as a metallic darkroom plum. It’s probably one of the most beautiful metallic lip shades I own. Next to the ColourPop Ultra Metallic Lip in Surprise that I recently purchased. It’s surprisingly very wearable. It looks way more metallic in the photo, but that’s probably because of the lighting and flash. I assure you it’s not that shiny in person.

It applied beautifully. I didn’t have to go in with a brush. It applied perfectly fine with the applicator alone. It does have a minty scent which I don’t really care for, but after a little while I hardly notice it. It’s not transfer-proof so I did have to touch up after eating and drinking. But touching up was easy. It wasn’t drying. In fact it made for one of the most comfortable wears ever! I really like how it felt on my lips. Some of the other metallics I’ve tried have felt a little heavy. This is surprisingly lightweight. You can see Strange & Unusual in action below!

I’ve worn this quite a bit throughout Fall. This is probably going to be the first liquid lipstick I finish entirely. I’ll definitely be purchasing more. I have my eye on Pagan, Lydia, Strumpet, and Synth. I’ll be picking those up soon!

Have you tried any of the OCC Lip Tar RTW? Which ones have you tried?

Don’t forget to check out my 4 Year Blogiversary Giveaway! There’s only a week left to enter! It’s open internationally! I’ll have it shipped out ASAP which will make for one neat Christmas present!
