MAC Archie’s Girls: Part 3

Purchased By Me

Here is part 3 of my MAC Archie’s Girls collection haul. I was super excited to get my hands on the Spoiled Rich quad because I LOVE purple! I also have the Caramel Sundae quad coming later on this week. At first I thought it would be too sheer and worried it wouldn’t show, but after seeing more swatches and talking it over with a friend I decided I needed it after all. Like my friend said, it would make a nice simple look. Seriously, that’s about all it took to convince me. I’m all about simple looks!

I couldn’t pass up the Cheers My Dear Pigment. It’s just TOO cute!

I also got Petrol Blue and Designer Purple Pearlglides. Lord It Up and Black Swan weren’t available for a while there, but as soon as they became available I ordered them. They should be coming this week with the Caramel Sundae quad. And last, but certainly not least the Veronica Opulash. Because you can never have enough mascara.

MAC Archie’s Girls: Part 2

Purchased By Me

Here is part 2 of my MAC Archie’s Girls collection haul. In this part you will see both pearlmattes and blushes. Before I go on, I apologize for the swatches. I’m not all that great at swatching and photographing them. It’s much more difficult than it looks. I was able to swatch the blushes just fine, but the pearlmattes didn’t really photograph well. I’ll get better at this. I promise.

Swatches (Left to Right): Cream Soda, Prom Princess

I LOVE the way Cream Soda swatched on my skin (NW20 for reference). It added a nice subtle peachy sort of tint to my cheeks. I used Flatter Me as a highlighter under my eyes, on my forehead, nose, and chin. I was afraid Prom Princess was going to be too bold for my fair skin, but that wasn’t at all the case. It was perfect! Of course I needed a very light hand to apply it, but the results were perfect! I haven’t used Veronica’s Blush yet. At the moment it’s just sitting on my vanity looking pretty. I’ll try to get a photo of myself wearing the entire Betty Collection and another wearing the entire Veronica Collection later on. Right now I’m still having some fun experimenting.

Have you purchased anything from the MAC Archie’s Girls collection? If so, what’s your favorite product so far?

MAC Archie’s Girls: Part 1

Purchased By Me

I received my MAC Archie’s Girls stuff last week. I couldn’t wait to photograph these beauties, but the weather wasn’t cooperative. Finally this morning I was provided with some decent light and took advantage. I was lucky enough to score just about everything from this collection. However, the only accessory I purchased was the brush kit. Usually I find the brush sets to be cute, but these are by far the cutest brushes I’ve seen. I just couldn’t pass them up. I totally plan to take these with me whenever I travel. And the tin case they come in will prevent them from getting ruined. It can also store other makeup goodies (shown below) alongside the brushes. Pretty cool, huh?

I really LOVE this collection. So much that I couldn’t decide which photos to display. So I’ve decided to break it down into parts and display them ALL. Starting with the haul as a whole and the cutesie brush kit.
