Bath By Bex CBD Bath Bombs

Zombie Bomb

A while back I stumbled upon the Bath By Bex Instagram. If I’m not mistaken I was tagged in one of their giveaways. I didn’t win, but at least I was introduced to a new brand of wonderful looking CBD infused bath bombs!

Staycation

I’ve talked about my love for CBD bath bombs a few times. CBD bath bombs are incredibly relaxing and can help with muscle aches and soreness. On a regular old day I’ll drop in a traditional bath bomb. But on those hectic days I’ll reach for one of my CBD bath bombs. Ever since I was introduced to them I keep a few on hand for emergencies. They truly are great and I highly recommend you try one. You won’t regret it!

Sexy Time

After watching the Bath By Bex feed for a while I could’t help but notice how much they stood out. They’re very passionate about their product. I really believe it shines through each post they share. They have quite a few products listed in their shop. There’s definitely a little something for everyone. Even your pets! Right away I noticed how they allow you to customize the products to fit your needs. You can choose the traditional colored bath bombs or select a clean white bath bomb. This is a great option if you are sensitive to certain dyes. You can even choose the strength of your bath bomb ranging from 0 MG – 500 MG. Of course the higher the strength the more it’ll cost you. However, their products are still very fairly priced.

Siren’s Blood

To start I purchased a few different bath bombs. They arrived sealed in clear packaging. I removed the packaging so that I could get better photos. There was a label on the back with the name and strength of each bath bomb. They’re pretty big and heavy. They all smelled amazing! Some bath bombs can have such a strong scent. I found these to be on the softer side. It definitely makes for a more relaxing bath. And let me tell you, it was super relaxing! I actually fell asleep in the tub at some point. That was with the Zombie Bomb which they kindly upgraded from 25 MG to 50 MG! I usually opt for the 25 MG. Now I’m thinking I might need a few 50 MG on hand for days I need a little help falling asleep.

Lavender Vanilla Lip Scrub

I also purchased the Lip Scrub and Lip Balm. I had to reach out to them on Instagram to inquire about the ingredients of the Lip Balm. Lots of places add stevia to their lip balms and unfortunately for me it causes my lips to swell and blister. They quickly responded with the list of ingredients which thankfully did not include stevia. The Lip Scrub and Lip Balm can also be customized. You can choose your flavor and whether or not you want them to be infused with CBD. I went with the CBD infused products.

Coconut Lip Balm

Coconut Lip Balm

The Lavender Vanilla Lip Scrub is really nice. It comes in a small plastic container with a label on top. It smelled so good! It made my lips feel a little tingly, but it did a great job at exfoliating. My lips felt super smooth afterward. The Coconut Lip Balm was also nice. It looked a little messed up in the tube when I first opened it. I wonder if maybe the coconut oil melted and then turned solid again? Either way after a few uses it evened out and made application much smoother. It smells like delicious coconut! And not the artificial smelling coconut either.

Overall, I’d have to say that Bath By Bex is pretty great. Their bath bombs are great quality. They smell amazing! They don’t make a mess. But most of all they are super relaxing! Which is exactly why I turn to CBD infused bath bombs! The Lip Scrub and Lip Balm were just a few extras that I wanted to try out. I’m glad that I did because they were also very nice products. Another huge plus? Free shipping! As well as wonderful customer service. I’ll definitely be ordering from them again.

Are you familiar with CBD? If so what are some of your favorite products?

Swatches: Ember, Bloom, Birch, Cinder, Twig

Swatches: Teak, Dystopian, Cyborg, Slate, Noir

I believe the first palette I ever tried from Anastasia Beverly Hills was the Modern Renaissance Palette. It’s such a beautiful palette and one that I still reach for. When Subculture came out I went crazy trying to make it mine because I loved Modern Renaissance so much and hoped it would be similar quality. Sadly, for me it wasn’t. Ever since I’ve been a little hesitant with the new palette releases. Even if the color story really stands out to me. That is until I laid my eyes on the Sultry Palette.

I was really drawn to the beautiful, shimmery packaging. It looked all kinds of glamorous. The shades were a perfect combination of neutrals with the most gorgeous pop of coral to tie it all together. I imagined all of the beautiful holiday looks I could create with it.

I read many reviews before deciding to make my purchase. Funny thing is no one mentioned that the gorgeous shimmery packaging was a bit of a glitter fest! Don’t get me wrong. It’s even more beautiful in person. But I wasn’t expecting textured glitter. It’s impossible to touch it without getting glitter everywhere. I really wish it was sealed in so that you get all of the glamour without the mess. Glittery bits aside, it really is a beautiful palette. Inside and out!

The Sultry Palette contains 14 eyeshadows. I love how it evens out between mattes and metallics. I personally love more matte shades. There’s even a great brow bone shade so I won’t have to reach for another palette. The shadows swatched beautifully. This wasn’t really a surprise to me. Even the Subculture palette swatched beautifully. What did surprise me was how well it performed.

I was a little nervous starting out. But the more into my look I got the more I fell in love with this palette. Twig was the only shade that was a little powdery, but it was nothing like Subculture. Dystopian needed a little extra help blending out. It could get a little patchy at times. The other shades were perfect. They all applied and blended beautifully. Even Noir.

You can see a look I created with the Sultry Palette below. I used the shades Twig and Slate in my crease, Cyborg on my lid with a dampened brush, Noir on my outer lid/crease, Fresh on my brow bone, and Pearl on the inner corner of my eye. For my lower lash line I used a combination of Slate and Noir.

This palette isn’t exactly my style. I’m more about color. Yet I found myself drawn to it. I’m really glad that I decided to try something different. While this isn’t something that always works in my favor, I’m happy to say that this time around it did. The Sultry Palette is a winner in my book. I’m happy to store it right next to my Modern Renaissance Palette. After the holidays of course. Because this beauty will be getting a lot of use over the next few months.

Have you tried the Sultry Palette?

Swatches: Collide, Speed Dial

In the beginning of the year I had talked about going on a bit of a no buy. I have so much stuff that I need to use up (lots of it still brand new) so I made that a priority. I did really good too. I made exceptions for essentials and those few must have items. Otherwise I feel like I did really good this year. Then we got toward the end of the year and… well, so much for the no buy! But to be fair who can resist holiday collections/new products with all of these great sales going on? That being said I have a ton of new things to review. This time I promise to get the new stuff up while it’s still new. But first I have to make my way through the posts I already have lined up.

When I purchased the Bad Habit Beauty Liquified Matte Lipstick in Speed Dial I also purchased the shade Collide. I thought both shades would be perfect for Fall. Collide swatched much nicer than Speed Dial and even applied a little easier. I did have to work a little at evening it out, but I feel like it applied more evenly and didn’t appear as patchy. Collide dried down a little better than Speed Dial too, but it wasn’t the most comfortable wear. It was a little more drying than I’d like. You can see Collide in action below.

Bad Habit Beauty Liquified Matte Lipstick in Collide

I really love that Bad Habit Beauty is expanding and adding more products to their lineup. I couldn’t wait to try their Liquified Matte Lipsticks. Trophy Life is really great and I love it! While I did like Speed Dial I can’t say that I loved it. It was just ok. Collide didn’t exactly wow me either. It’s a pretty red, but truthfully it’s not one I’d reach for often. I have many red shades that are a much more comfortable wear.

I think that’s about it from Bad Habit Beauty this year. Unless they come out with something new and exciting in the next few weeks.
