Derma E Vitamin C Best Sellers

Derma E Vitamin C Best Sellers

I know that I said in my last post that things would remain normal around here and then I sort of took off for a few weeks. There were times where I’d come to sit down at my vanity and felt that this was the last place I needed to be. It just didn’t feel right. Then I found myself stressing and getting anxious and thought maybe this is exactly what I needed after all. I keep trying to go about life as usual, but then I feel guilty. Is that what I’m supposed to be doing? I don’t even know anymore. I do know that I’m doing my part by staying home. Once a week my husband goes out on a grocery store run, but that’s the only time any of us leave the house. I’ve been going for walks with my son again so that we get out and get some air/exercise. It’s been good for us. It helps me to stay positive. So I’m going to try and be more productive around here.

Before all of this started I received a nice little package from Derma E. It included a few of their Vitamin C Best Sellers. Here is what was included…

  • Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste
  • Vitamin C Concentrated Serum
  • Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches

The Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste helps reduce the appearance of uneven skin tone and blemishes while enhancing your skin’s natural glow. It contains ancient rice and golden turmeric. The Vitamin C Concentrated Serum is a high-potency serum that penetrates deeply providing essential hydration. It contains hyaluronic acid, aloe, and vitamin e. The Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches claim to brighten, hydrate, and improve the appearance of the under eye area. It contains allantoin, caffeine, and vitamin c and b3.

The Vitamin C Gentle Daily Cleansing Paste and Vitamin C Bright Eyes Hydro Gel Patches are both new to me products. So far I can say that I’m loving the gel patches. I love gel patches in general, but these feel extra nice. They’ve really made a difference on my tired, stressed eyes these days. I’ll have to share a photo of me using them in my Instagram stories the next time I use them.

Have you tried anything from the Derma E Vitamin C Line?

*I received these products complimentary. I was not paid or compensated in any way to write this review. All opinions are completely my own.

Swatch

Every time I see a new Sugarpill sparkle infused matte lipstick I get excited thinking I’m going to get another Trinket. I absolutely love their lipsticks and their sparkle infused mattes are my favorite! So of course I would buy Doll Up.

Sugarpill Liquid Lip Color in Doll Up is described as a rose with baby blue and gold sparkles. I did have to build up my swatch quite a bit to get the color to show. I’m not sure if I received a bad batch or what, but this thing was completely dried out. After lots of work I was able to get it to apply somewhat evenly on my lips. However, it was very uncomfortable. It was dry and gritty. The shade itself is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately it’s nothing like the other sparkle infused mattes I have tried. You can see Sugarpill Liquid Lip Color in Doll Up in action below.

Overall, I’d have to say that I’m pretty disappointed in this shade. Which is a shame because it’s so pretty! But for $18.00 I expect to get at least a few uses out of it. However, with the last 2 shades I’ve tried I was barely able to get just one use. It has honestly put me off of trying more shades. And I had my eye on a few of the newer ones.

Have you tried any of Sugarpill’s sparkle infused matte shades? What are your thoughts?

I feel horrible sharing this now that Bad Habit seems to have fallen off the face of the Earth. But I’ve been using the Bad Habit Rose Highlight Collection palette a lot lately and really wanted to share it. I believe it was a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit which I hear is making a comeback. So at the very least maybe you can grab that.

The Bad Habit Rose Highlight Collection contains 6 highlighters including some beautiful rose gold shades, a platinum, and a few golds. They are silky smooth and apply and blend beautifully. For $10.00 this truly was a bargain. I reach for the shade Shine more than anything. It’s the perfect neutral highlighter that compliments just about any look. You can see the Bad Habit Rose Highlight Collection in the shade Shine in action below.

Overall, I’d have to say this is a great palette. It’s a shame the company is no longer around. I wonder what happened? I know some frown upon dupes or exact copies, but I found many of theirs to be better than the originals. I wouldn’t say that is the case with this palette though. While it’s a very beautiful dupe, the Anastasia Beverly Hills palette was much better quality. But if Bad Habit was still around and you wanted a more affordable option, I think you’d be very happy with this palette.

Have you ever tried anything from Bad Habit? What highlighter are you loving at the moment?
