Too Faced Pretty Rebel Eyeshadow Palette

My father bought me this badass palette for my upcoming birthday (early birthday present, yo!). I don’t really own any other Too Faced products, but this one really stood out. I just knew it would be a great addition to my collection. When I first opened this palette I was a little intimidated. Usually I open a palette and grab my brushes and just get to work. But this palette really stopped me in my tracks. HOW do I go about wearing this? I was stumped. I took my search to the interwebz and came across this pretty look. I don’t usually use others looks as inspiration (mostly because I’m afraid I won’t get it right), but I really needed help here and the look was too pretty not to try. I really love the color combo. I never would have thought to pair the gold with the darker blue. But they look great together! And of course I didn’t exactly nail it, but I was still pleased with the look I was able to create. You can see that look below.
The shadows swatched beautifully and I found that they applied just as beautifully on the lids. They’re so pigmented… vibrant! They were soft and blended easily. My look lasted all day with very little to no creasing or fading. I can tell I’m going to have a lot of fun experimenting with this palette. Now if I could only master that darn winged liner. I’m so scared to make that line any thicker. Practice makes perfect, right?
