ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Get Leid

Swatches

When I placed my last ColourPop order I decided to grab a few more of their Super Shock Cheek blushes. I loved Rain so much that I had to try a few other shades. And Get Leid seems like the perfect Summer friendly shade! Also, I kind of like the name.

Get Leid is described as a bright warm peach with a matte finish. It’s velvety smooth and applies and blends easily. It doesn’t look as bold once applied to my cheeks which I like. It can easily be built up, but I was afraid my cheeks were going to be neon peach. Totally not what I was aiming for. It’s a really beautiful peach blush that gives you that nice Summer glow! I’m also really digging it paired with my Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree. You can see Get Leid in action below.

Like with Rain, I applied Get Leid with my fingers and blended it out with my buffer brush. Also, it appears that my liner is thicker on one side. My husband claims it’s the angle, but I don’t know. Maybe look past that? Hah!

    • Hey, Dee! My husband has a good eye alright. And Metamorphosis has been on my list of things to buy. I was going to purchase it a few days ago when they released the new lipsticks, but that was just a disaster. Maybe next time? I bet it’s beautiful!

      Thanks for stopping by! :)

  5. Get Leid looks like the perfect coral shade and yes, perfect for summer! And don’t be silly, I agree with your husband, I think it’s the angle. LOL!

    • Hahaha I stared at it for days thinking I had to retake the photos. But I felt I did a good job at capturing the blush shade which is rare. I always feel like it could look better. So I wasn’t trying to retake them. I still feel like it’s off, but in other photos from the same shoot it looks fine. Maybe y’all are right? Beauty blogger problems! lol :)

Oh I think it’s the angle! ;D I guess I must be the only beauty blogger left who hasn’t tried anything from ColourPop! This color looks totally adorable on you! Brightens up your face so nicely. :D

    • Hahaha thank you, Jaa! It does seem as if everyone is talking about them nowadays. For good reason though. They have some great products and at a great price.

  7. Sssh, it totally just looks like the angle! This is a pretty, super subtle shade. =)
