ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip in Mars

Let me just start off by saying that they named this shade appropriately, because Mars is out of this world! Hah! See what I did there?
Mars is a gorgeous red fuchsia. Seriously, this bad boy just screams glam! Well, I feel glamorous when I wear it anyway. Just like Creeper it’s on the watery side and dries very quickly. However, it applies nicely and evenly. It’s very comfortable and lightweight. It lasted all day long with a little fading toward the end of the night. I found this shade to be a little drying. It’s not so bad, but I did notice it after a few hours. It’s still a comfortable wear though. And I seriously can’t get over just how pretty this shade is.
In case I didn’t say it enough times I really love this shade. And Creeper too. So far I’m really impressed with the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products. I really can’t wait to dig into the other shades. I’m already planning another order. Even though I have like a hundred other items on my wishlist. Beauty blogger problems.

I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything from ColourPop, but I’m loving the loving this shade on you! It looks so soft and velvety. :)

I’m rather 50/50 on the matte lip in general. I love how matte lips look on women, but I think I’m a glossy lip gal.

That’s how I used to be. I remember getting a liquid lipstick in a Birchbox once and just tossed it aside. I hated it! Boy has that changed lol. Gloss is nice too though! :)
Mars is the shade I was most excited for when I first saw swatches of the Ultra Matte. It’s so beautiful! I still haven’t made Colourpop order yet… too many things I want!

Awww thank you, Anne! :) I’ve got a green one on my next wishlist. Now that’s a shade I haven’t tried yet. I doubt I can pull that one off, but watch me try lol.
I can tell how great the formula is for a matte because it looks incredible on your lips! Very much out of this world, hehe.

Hmm. I’m not sure if this comment is going through twice. If it is, sorry. Anyway, as I was saying…based on how it looks on your lips, this formula seems pretty incredible for a matte. And yes, the shade is “out of this world”. Lol. Beautiful.

I have not tried any of the ColourPop matte lippies, but I’m quite curious about them. This color is definitely “out of this world”!
