I’ve actually been sitting on this one for a while. I’ve been meaning to post it ever since my Holiday Haul post. Unfortunately it had to take a backseat for a while. Better late than never?

When I first saw promo photos for the collection I wasn’t totally sold. It looked great, but I just felt that they were shades I’ve seen already. Nothing really stood out. That is until I started seeing some swatches and looks and decided that I did in fact need it in my life. It really was too pretty to pass up! ColourPop really does go all out for their collections and I admit to falling for the hype. They make it so easy!

This collaboration with Kathleen Lights consists of the Dream St. Pressed Powder Shadow Palette and the Dream Team Lip Bundle. The eyeshadow palette contains 12 eyeshadows. It’s a nice combination of mattes, metallics, and satins. The shadows are all nicely pigmented. The metallics are so soft and creamy that they just glide on! They all applied and blended beautifully. Then again most of their shadows do. I’ve only ever had an issue with a few of their mattes, but that wasn’t at all the case with this palette.

The lip bundle contains an Ultra Glossy Lip in the shade Moon Child which is a pink nude with gold glitter. This was my first time experimenting with their Ultra Glossy Lip. I was not disappointed! It wasn’t super sticky and it didn’t feel heavy on my lips. It was a very comfortable wear. I was very surprised. I wasn’t expecting to love this as much as I did. Next is the Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Dreamy which is a peachy pink. This has to be one of my new favorite shades from ColourPop. It’s gorgeous! I’m really digging the satin formula. It’s so comfortable! Last, but certainly not least is the Ultra Satin Lip in the shade Rêver which is a neon orange red. I had no idea that this was going to be so… neon! When I first put it on I had to take a step back. My first thought was ‘No way in hell am I leaving the house wearing this!’ But after looking at the photos I was convinced that it somehow works (with the palette). I think the more subtle eye look helped to tone it down a bit. I’m really digging it. It’s definitely a unique shade in my collection and a very fun one at that! You can see these lip shades along with the palette in action below.

Overall, I loved this collection. It contained a nice variety of the products ColourPop has to offer and the shades all compliment each other beautifully. I don’t think they still have the PR Collection in stock, but you can still purchase the products separately. I’ve listed them both below.

  1. Girl this collection is gorgeous! Love all 3 lip colors on you too. Xo

  2. I love dreamy a lot on you, i also prefer satin lip formula… loved the look you created and would love to see you use that dark green for an eyelook :)

  3. I am so torn – I have the same thoughts you did – it’s pretty, but is starting to look familiar! Same with all their latest launches, but don’t get me wrong I am a total sucker for Colour Pop because they are such great quality and affordability! Bah, the struggles.

  4. You look gorgeous doll, you always make me want to buy all the things! ;-) – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com

  5. I adore the shades in that palette but frankly haven’t ordered from CP website before. I’ve read and heard s many horror stories of the CS that it really must me off.

    • Yeah I’ve been very vocal of my own experiences with their customer service. They can definitely invest in that department a bit. But I haven’t had any issues recently so…

  6. Loved the ultra satin dreamy and this palette looks really good. You look stunning :)

  7. The eye shadow palette surprised me once I saw your swatches. They’re familiar shades but not exactly the same as what I own already. I especially like that you can create a variety of looks with the colour included, and you can do a complete look using just this palette.

    • They really did cover all the bases with the shade selection. And I think that’s how they get you. They’re all very similar to older palettes, but just different enough to convince you that you need it lol.

  8. I think the palette is beautiful, but I wouldn’t use the red so I don’t think it’s worth it for me.

    • Red is a very tricky shade to work with. But I like having different shades on hand. Even those super bold shades lol.
