Swatches: Berry Chic, Rose Berry, Berry Pop, Mixed Berries, Berry Black

This is my very first Dose Of Colors purchase. Many of their products have caught my eye in the past, but never enough to make me place an order. One day while walking through Ulta I saw the Blushing Berries Palette on display and grabbed the only palette they had left in stock. I didn’t have time to swatch it in person. I just kind of grabbed it and hoped for the best. I remember seeing lots of beautiful looks created with it so I had very high hopes. Did it live up to my expectations? Let’s find out!

I’m really digging the pretty red packaging. It comes with a brush that is surprisingly soft. It’s a little on the small side so I use it for my lower lash line. I don’t usually use the brushes that come with palettes, but this one was really nice. Too nice to let it go unused. The shadows are gorgeous! I love the shade selection! That’s what really caught my eye. They all compliment each other beautifully. They’re all very nicely pigmented and blended beautifully! As much as I love me some berry shades they can be tricky to work with. Surprisingly these were some of the easiest berry shades that I’ve worked with. You can see a look I created with the Blushing Berries Palette below.

Overall, I’d have to say that I love this palette. The shades are so up my alley. I’m tempted to go back and grab the other palettes. The Marvelous Mauves and Sassy Siennas are kind of calling my name too.

Have you tried anything from Dose Of Colors? I’m really digging the fact that you can now find their products at Ulta. Even though I hate going there lately. But that’s a story for another time.

  1. OMG! I thought it was a blush palette and wondered why the hell is there a black in it! LOL!

  2. Wow you sure stuck it lucky. I wish I had that kind of luck hahaha! (Not exactly the same as you here) I just brought some nail polishes online and received them severely disappointed. Did not much up to the swatch sample images online. Wahhh. My own fault though.

    • Awww I’m sorry to hear about that. It happens to the best of us though. I just had something similar happen with the new Wet n Wild Spring Collection. :(

  3. These are totally your shades, the look you created is really amazing on you! I have yet to try anything from Dose of Colors, but I’ve heard their liquid lipsticks are great. I might start there.

    • Thank you, Lulle! I never could pass up those berry shades. And I need to look up swatches for their lipsticks. My local Ulta carries a small selection and I’d love to try some too.

  4. the shades are so beautiful and seems to be blended easily… loved the makeup look you came up using this…
