Gerard Cosmetics Starlet Palette

Swatches: Lucy, Marilyn, Grace

How pretty is the Gerard Cosmetics Starlet Palette? This is actually my first time experimenting with the brand. I’m so glad that I got to try their highlighters because aside from lipstick and blush, highlighters are my favorite! Oh who am I kidding? They’re all my favorite! But my eyes sure do light up whenever I see a fancy new highlighter.

The Gerard Cosmetics Starlet Palette contains 3 of the brand’s most popular Star Powders. Lucy which is described as a rosy highlight with a hint of golden shimmer. Marilyn which is described as an ultra luxurious golden shade reminiscent of crushed diamonds. And Grace which is described as a pearlescent, frosted white gold with a beautiful sheen.

These Star Powders can be used as eyeshadow, a blush topper, or highlighter. They’re incredibly soft and almost creamy. They’re also very pigmented. These definitely offer some serious glow, but you can just as easily tone it down for a more natural look. I’ve actually been using Marilyn the most because I feel like it’s a happy medium. While Lucy is a more vibrant and upbeat shade and Grace is a more subtle shade, Marilyn sits right in the middle. Literally too.

You can see Marilyn in action below. I also used Lucy on the inner corner of my eye and Grace on my cupid’s bow and tip of my nose. Yeah, I went there. I know a lot of people frown upon that, but I didn’t get too carried away.

Gerard Cosmetics Starlet Palette

Overall, I’d have to say the Gerard Cosmetics Starlet Palette is a winner. Everything about it is perfect. The shades, the placement of the shades, even the names! It was very well thought out.

Have you tried anything from Gerard Cosmetics? What highlighters are you loving lately?
