If you look back on my photos you’ll see that my hair is forever changing. I’m always dying it and when the mood strikes I even go and chop it all off. It was all fun and games until my last trip to the salon. I asked for an ombre and got highlights. Don’t ask. But the bleach really did a number on my hair. I went to Target and browsed the hair care aisle desperate to find something to help bring my hair back to life. That’s when I was first introduced to Hask.
For the past few months I’ve been buying their wonderful Deep Conditioner packets. I’ve only tried the Argan Oil and the Keratin Protein Oil. Let me tell you… they smell amazing! They really have helped my hair so much. After months of using the Deep Conditioner packets (twice a week) my hair feels softer and doesn’t look as frizzy and damaged. So you can imagine how excited I was to try some of their other products.
Hask is a collection of hair care products featuring exotic oils from around the world. Products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, artificial colors, alcohol, and gluten. Hask offers a nice selection of hair care products for all hair types. Today I will be talking about the Macadamia Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Deep Conditioner, and Shine Hair Oil.
The shampoo and conditioner were really nice. Unlike the Argan Oil and Keratin Protein Oil the Macadamia Oil had a more subtle scent. It smelled like vanilla. I didn’t feel like the shampoo and conditioner were rich enough on their own for my super thick and damaged hair. However, it worked so much better than most of the other shampoos and conditioners I’ve tried. I didn’t have to use that much of the conditioner because it spread out evenly on my hair and really saturated it. The bottles were also really easy to work with. I mention this because I recently purchased a higher end shampoo and conditioner and getting the product out was almost impossible. It’s nice to actually be able to get to the product easily.
The Macadamia Oil Deep Conditioner is just as awesome as the other Deep Conditioners I’ve tried. These packets really do work for me and I definitely notice a difference when I don’t use them. Which is why I stock up on them. As for use, I usually leave the conditioner in my hair for about 15-20 minutes while in the bath. I find it easier to leave it in so long while in the bath. I just lay back and relax and let the conditioner work its magic. I get about 3-4 uses from each packet and I’m very generous with it too.
This was my first time trying the Shine Hair Oil. It comes in a thin tube. The cap comes off easily without any spillage. I poured a small amount in the palm of my hand and worked it through my damp hair. I’d say it felt pretty weightless and didn’t leave my hair looking greasy. The Shine Hair Oil also smells like vanilla, but it was subtle. It left my hair with a nice healthy looking shine.
I’m already a fan of Hask, but it was so much fun getting to try some of their other products. I didn’t know they had shampoo and conditioner in their line of products. I’ll definitely have to look for the Argan Oil and Keratin Protein Oil next time I’m out. My local Target only sells the Deep Conditioner packets so I’ll have to make a trip to Ulta.
I love the sound of the mask & oil! xx
Happy New Year!

They’re great! The mask really is my favorite though!
I had the opportunity to try HASK Argan Oil range and absolutely love it! Once I’m done with the shampoo and conditioner, I’ll pick up this range to try next!

The Argan Oil was the first one I tried and man was it love at first sight! I really wish they made these in larger bottles. I have a million packets stored in my closet lol.
I think I need to try it now! My hair feels dull bc of the flat iron. I’ll look into this one, thank you!!
Yeah I know what you mean. The Deep Conditioners really are a game changer for me. They liven up my hair so much. They were on sale at Kmart a few weeks back (buy one get one). I grabbed a bunch lol.
I recently started Deep Conditioning again, my hair needs all the love it can get. Years of bleach have taken its toll!

Indeed they are! :)
The Macadamia Oil line sounds great! I’ve tried the Keratin Protein line, and it was pretty good, but the conditioner wasn’t rich enough for me. I did love the deep conditioner and treatment oil though!

I felt the same about the conditioner. But yes the deep conditioner is amazing! I think the Keratin one might be my favorite. Or the Argan. They smell so nice!
Great products… the mask seems to be the best of the lot..

It’s definitely my favorite of them all!
Wow, this all sounds wonderful. =o My latest hair dye completely took the curl out of my hair – horrifying. It took about five days to come back, and I’ve been trying to use very revitalizing and rich shampoos and conditioners now. Will definitely have to take a look at these. =)
Oh no not the curls! Try the Deep Condtioner. They’re only about $2.00 (I think) per packet and you can definitely get a few uses out of it. I even add a little to my hair dye mixture to thin it out a bit. It’s good stuff.
Duly noted, will keep an eye out for it when I can hit ULTA next. =)
