Holiday 2017 Haul

Purchased By Me

I didn’t think I did much shopping for myself this holiday season, but as I started listing everything I realized how wrong I was. I mean I did get some great deals on everything. I don’t think I paid retail for any of it. Let’s break it all down.

Holiday 2017 Haul

Sephora

The old $20.00 off of $50.00 coupon! Would you believe me if I told you I didn’t even use mine this year? I got everything I needed during the 20% off sale. My husband did take me back to Sephora to look around, coupon in hand. But we walked out empty-handed. I just didn’t see anything that I needed or wanted. I think he was just as surprised as me. Here’s what I picked up during the 20% off sale.

Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings Tame & Shape Kit in #4
I’m pretty sure I’m one of the only people who just doesn’t like Benefit’s brow products. I just can’t seem to make the products work for me. However, when I tested this little duo I quickly fell in love. I love that it comes with both wax and powder. It’s very easy to work with and the mini brow brush is perfect! I wish that it came with a spoolie rather than tweezers, but I can definitely see it coming in handy for traveling.

Huda Beauty Contour & Strobe Lip Set in Silverfox / Enchanting
By now I’m sure you’ve seen my review for the Huda Beauty Contour & Strobe Lip Set in Silverfox / Enchanting. My husband purchased the Huda Beauty Contour & Strobe Lip Set in Trophy Wife / Shameless for me a week prior to the sale. I loved it so much that I had to get another one.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper
My go-to liner. These sales are perfect for replenishing your essentials.

Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
My go-to moisturizer. It’s light and super moisturizing. I usually purchase a nice big jar 2-3 times a year.

Holiday 2017 Haul

Dote

Have y’all heard of the Dote shopping app? Well, I haven’t until recently. I know. Have I been living under a rock? Apparently. In my defense it has been a rough year. Anyway, I first heard about it on Instagram through someone I follow. She shared her promo code which got me $5.00 off my first order and another $5.00 promo code for a promotion that was going on. And since I was a first time app user I even got free shipping. I was also in luck as most of the stores listed were having crazy Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Things were crazy cheap!

If you’d like $5.00 off your order feel free to use my promo code VMR6. Unfortunately the extra $5.00 off promotion has ended, but if you’re a first time user of the app you can still get free shipping on top of the $5.00 off using my promo code. So that’s like an $11.00 savings! Still not bad!

Also, you probably won’t get these items for the prices I paid. Like I said, I shopped during the sales and I was able to use a promo code that is no longer available. I also used some credits I received from referrals. Just figured I’d mention that.

ColourPop All I See Is Magic
Original Price: $20.00 Paid: $6.69
It’s gorgeous and I’ve already used it in a few looks. I still have my issues with ColourPop, but I can’t stay away from their gorgeous palettes! Be on the lookout for the review.

ColourPop NKLA X Laura Lee Bundle
Original Price: $18.00 Paid: $5.63
I can’t say that I’m a fan of Laura Lee. I don’t even know who she is. I’ve obviously heard OF her, but I don’t know anything about her. The lip trio looked cute as heck though and I knew I needed to make it mine. Regardless of whose name was plastered on it.

Sugarpill Liquid Lip Color in Trinket
Original Price: $18.00 Paid: $3.39.
I’ve had my eye on this lipstick ever since I first saw it. I hate placing orders where I only purchase one item so I held off until I planned to order something more. Like back when I placed my Valentine’s Day order. It was sold out. Or when I placed my Beautylish order. It was sold out. The timing was never right. I guess patience paid off because not only did I finally get my hands on this beauty, but I didn’t even have to pay full price. Although I gladly would have because it’s perfect!

Lime Crime Metallic Velvetines in Siren
Original Price: $20.00 Paid: $5.63
Of course I had to get some Lime Crime. I decided I needed to add Siren to my collection. It’s the prettiest sunset peach gold.

ColourPop X Kathleen Lights Dream Collection PR Collection
Original Price: $34.00 Paid: $31.13
Another collection I couldn’t pass up. Everything looked so pretty! The packaging, the colors… they really go all out for their collections. I’ll be reviewing this soon!

Holiday 2017 Haul

Shop Hush

Another shopping app I stumbled upon on Instagram. I’m actually really glad that I found this app. You can find lots of gorgeous dupes for many popular palettes. I’m not going to lie. I’d much rather have the real thing. I have no problem paying for it either. But sometimes you’re left disappointed. That’s what started my Shop Hush addiction. I saw swatches of the Bad Habit Retro Love Palette which is a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette. I decided to test it out and was pleasantly surprised. I haven’t been able to stop shopping there yet.

You get rewards for shopping with them as well as a daily reward that you have to physically claim when you log in. You can use these rewards for purchases or save them for bigger purchases later on. Also, if something isn’t in stock, keep checking. They’re always restocking! And everything ships for free!

Bad Habit Retro Love Palette
Original Price: $10.00 Paid: $10.00
A dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette.

Bad Habit Aura Palette
Original Price: $12.00 Paid: $11.50
A dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism Palette.

Bad Habit Athena Palette
Original Price: $12.00 Paid: $9.96
A dupe for the Huda Beauty Desert Husk Palette.

Face Candy Milkshake Palette
Original Price: $12.00 Paid: $10.00
I’m not really sure if this is a dupe for anything, but it definitely resembles a lot of those peach type palettes.

Okalan Glowing Palette Shimmer Kit (Moonlight)
Original Price: $12.00 Paid: $3.90
I’m not really sure if this is a dupe for anything, but it caught my eye and it was only $3.90.

Holiday 2017 Haul

Maurices

Ultra Soft Legging
Original Price: $18.00 Paid: $11.60

Hacci Legging In Fair Isle Print
Original Price: $20.00 Paid: $12.89

That’s all of it! I’ll be reviewing everything soon. I’ve already taken photos and swatches. Most of the posts have even been drafted. They won’t go live until after the holidays though. There is only room for two more posts this year. So check back next year! Be sure to let me know if there’s something you’re looking forward to seeing. I’ll make that a priority!

What have you hauled this holiday season? Did you get any great deals on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?
