Swatches: Kiss Me, Touch Me

I’ve talked about Jouer on the blog quite a bit. I absolutely love their face products! Their blushes and highlighters are wonderful. I wasn’t exactly blown away with their liquid lipsticks, but their metallic liquid lipsticks are amazing. However, I’m beginning to think that I may have been too quick to judge because the more I try from the brand the more I love them. I guess I didn’t choose well the first time around.

I feel like their new product launches aren’t so over the top yet they still call to me. Their products are so elegant and beautiful on their own that they really speak for themselves. And because of that I find myself wanting it all. Even when I’m on a bit of a no-buy. I’m sure you see where I’m going with this.

When I first saw promo photos of the Blush Bouquet duos I knew I was going to break my no-buy. They come in 3 shades; Coquette, Adore, and Flirt. I purchased Flirt. This duo contains 2 complimentary blushes that are said to deliver full pigment color and blend to a perfect finish. The 2 blushes included in Flirt are Kiss Me which is a warm carnation pink with a matte finish and Touch Me which is a shimmering warm light peach. Both shades really do compliment each other beautifully. You can use them individually, swirl together, or do what I did which is layer the shimmer shade on top of the matte. I pretty much treated it like a blush/highlighter duo and the end result was a beautiful, more natural look.

Touch Me was very soft and velvety. Kiss Me was a little stiffer, but not overly so. They both applied and blended beautifully! They’re nicely pigmented and build up easily for a bolder look. The packaging really brings this whole duo together. It’s easily the most elegant looking blush duo in my collection. If you’re going to break a no-buy, it had better be for something as beautiful as the Blush Bouquet duo. Because really who can blame you? Look at it!

  2. Never mind the blushes, the packaging of this is so pretty! But yeah, the blushes look beautiful too.
Sadly, I’ve not tried anything from Jouer as it’s not easy to get my hands on in Canada. I’ve heard good things about their foundation and lip products.

  3. This is a brand that I am yet to explore for some reason! This blush looks and sounds stunning! xx

  4. I’m won over by beautiful packaging… Both the shades compliment each other to give beautiful healthy glow and flush to cheeks…Loved the review and you are looking beautiful as ever.

  5. When I visited the Birchbox store with a friend, they had some Jouer lipsticks on the shelf which intrigued me. I didn’t buy anything because I was on a no-buy at the time haha. But they’ve been one of those brands that I’ve mysteriously not tried yet.

This blush looks beautiful on you. :)

    • I have a feeling you’d really like their products. They have a much softer more natural approach. Which is the complete opposite of what I’m usually drawn to lol. But I can’t help myself.
