Here is my July 2015 Birchbox! And it’s a good one! Since it takes me a year and a day to get my box I have the luxury of seeing everyone’s boxes on the interwebs while I sit here and wait… impatiently. From the looks of it it seemed like it was going to be a decent box. Well, I got lucky this month because not only did I get all new to me items, but I got items I have been wanting to try (and definitely will try)! Ok enough of my rambling. Let’s get to it!

I might have tossed the amika Un.Done Texture Spray into my gift bag (a tote I store things I plan to give away) because the very last thing I need is MORE volume. My hair is super thick so I definitely don’t need any help in that department. But because I’ve tried some of their other products and loved them, I’m willing to give this a try.

I’ve heard lots of good things about Macadamia Professional™. And I love me some hair mists! So I’m pretty excited to try the Macadamia Professional™ Weightless Moisture Leave-In Conditioning Mist. And this is one generous sample!

I’ve tried a few COOLA products in the past, but I can’t remember my experience with them. The COOLA SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray sounds pretty awesome though! It’s a mattifying makeup setting spray that contains SPF! It also contains cucumber which sounds like it will be totally refreshing! I just might have to use this for a bit and give it a proper review.

Ah! I was probably a little too excited to see theBalm® cosmetics Balm Desert® Bronzer/Blush in my box this month. I really love theBalm® blushes! And the packaging is probably one of the coolest around. The sample is teeny tiny, but it’s a gorgeous shade!

I’m really not sure what I was most excited to see in my box. The bronzer or the stila look at me liquid lipstick in Venezia. Since I’ve been on a bit of a liquid lipstick kick I was excited to learn that we’d be getting one of these stila liquid lipsticks in our box this month. I was really hoping to try one of the new Summer shades. And it appears that Venezia is one of the new Summer shades. Although it was spelled Venizia on my sample. Be on the lookout for a proper review on this as well.

This month’s box may have taken forever to get here, but at least it wasn’t disappointing.

  2. Fantastic Bircbox! I don’t do subscriptions anymore because I’m overseas, obviously but I remember liking Birchbox for the most part. I think I’d be most excited by the Macadamia Professional Weightless Moisture Leave-In Conditioning Mist.

    • The more I think about it I’m actually with you on the Macadamia Professional! I ended up gifting it to my MIL though because she lives in the middle of nowhere and has no access to these types of things. And she LOVES her hair care products! But I’m so impressed with their generous sample that I’m thinking of buying 2 full sized bottles. One for me and one for my MIL.

  3. You don’t need any volume to your hair? Oh, lucky you. If I had three wishes, they would be volume, volume and probably not to gain weight no matter how much I eat. Or more volume.

    • My hair is crazyyyy thick! Any time I go to the salon and they try adding volumizing products or teasing my hair I end up leaving looking like a poof ball. :(

I’m all for being able to eat without gaining weight though hahaha!

  4. Oh lucky you to have thick hair! My hair is fine an thin so send me some of your hair please! LOL! I think I’m most excited to see the Stila liquid lipstick, that shade is gorgeous!

    • Ahh but thick hair has its downsides. I can’t even straighten my own hair. There’s just so much of it. I watch other girls straighten their own hair like it’s nothing and I just can’t. My husband does it for me lol. And the lipstick is a pretty shade! I can’t wait to test it out!

  5. Ooh, holy moly, that lip colour! Gonna be in the city centre tomorrow, am keeping my eyes peeled!

  7. That’s a huge Macadamia Oil sample! I’m obsessed with their oil and deep repair masque, so I would have loved to get the hair mist. I think everyone had amazing samples this month!

  8. Looks like a pretty decent box! I’m with ya on the amika Un.Done Texture Spray – my hair is MASSIVE so the last thing I need is even more volume. I spend most of my time trying to flatten it – virtually impossible in rainy, old Ireland :-)

    • Yes! I have to straighten mine all the time too! If I were to rock my natural wavy hair? Well, I’ll have to try and post a photo once. Words can’t even begin to explain the mess that is my hair. lol :)

  9. I’m also curious about the Coola setting spray. I need more SPF in my life lol.
