Are y’all ready for some Rimmel London goodness? This is actually my first time experimenting with the brand. So what did I think? Let’s see!
First up is the Kate Sculpting Palette. It comes in 3 shades. Golden Sands, Coral Glow, and Golden Bronze. Each palette contains a highlighter, contour, and blush. These little trios are convenient and super pretty! Some of the shades were a little hard while others were softer and almost creamy. However, they were all pretty easy to work with. I actually liked the Golden Bronze shade the most. I found it to be the most pigmented of the bunch. And that blush shade is gorgeous! The others required some building up to really show up in the swatches. But they do apply much nicer on the face.
The Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection lipsticks are gorgeous! I was so excited to try these out! The packaging is all kinds of cute. I’m really digging the peachy/pink color. The lipsticks were incredibly creamy and super easy to work with. It claims to last up to 8 hours, but I only got about half of that. However, they reapplied beautifully! I really like these lipsticks. In fact I liked them so much that I ran out to buy some of those fancy looking rose gold lipsticks which I will be reviewing soon. Ok soonish!
Last, but certainly not least is the Volume Colourist Mascara. It comes in 2 shades. Black and Extreme Black. Extreme Black is pictured above. It claims to darken bare lashes in 2 weeks. My hair is naturally dark to begin with so I don’t really notice a difference there. The wand was very easy to work with. It wasn’t bulky and the brush didn’t pick up too much product. It coated my lashes evenly without looking like a clumpy mess. I don’t feel like it did much volume-wise, but it did lengthen my lashes quite a bit. I was a little surprised that a mascara with the word volume in the name provided me with more length than volume though. I think it would be pretty amazing if it did provide at least some volume. Because it was easy to apply, was even easier to wash off, didn’t flake off throughout the day, and felt very comfortable overall. But… where’s the volume, guys?
You can see some of these products in action below!
Overall I think this was a really nice collection. My favorites are easily the lipsticks. They’re gorgeous!
I haven’t tried many rimmel products but have always heard such great things about their lipsticks! All three of your shades look absolutely gorgeous. Even if they didn’t last the full 8 hours, as long as they’re moisturizing would still like them too :)

I heard a lot about their lipsticks too. Glad to see they’re just as great as everyone says they are. :)
I like the blush in the Coral Glow palette & the No 41 lipstick! xx

The coral is very pretty! :)
I love their lipsticks so much! The ones I have tried did not last 8 hours either but I still love them. Have not tried any of those palettes from them yet though.

I had to get them after seeing your post! But I wanted to see if I liked them first so sure enough after trying these I had to run out. Several Walgreens and CVS later and I found them at the last CVS I went to. I got lucky too as they were BOGO 1/2 off!
You need to start reviewing your makeup lighting and workstation!! You have such clear, crisp lighting, and I am anxious to learn how you do it! <3 Great post, as always dear! – http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
Awww why thank you! I can totally try and work that in. But I’m not a professional at all. Just a lot of trial and error lol. But I’ve always loved your photos more. Do you use all natural light?
Beautiful pictures of you! Those little cheek palettes are cute, and the result looks really pretty on you. I remember Revlon made similar contour/blush/highlight little palettes years ago, but contouring wasn’t as popular at that time!

Thank you so much, Lulle! I’m really digging them. They’re small and cute. I’ll totally have to take one with me when I travel this holiday season since they don’t take up much room.
My favorites are definetely the lipsticks too! They look amazing. As do you, btw!

Yes they are! :)
I have a couple of Kate Moss lipsticks and they’re great! I also have the mono eyeshadow in Millionaire which is a very versatile neutral golden bronze and is really good for the price.

I’ll have to check out some other items for sure! :)
I can see why you like those lipsticks! They look amazing on you. Also, it is quite odd that a mascara that claims to add volume would actually end up only lengthening lashes. That’s a real head scratcher.

Thank you, Chris! And it really is odd! Unfortunately it just didn’t give me any volume. And my lashes could use the help lol.
I’ve been looking at those cheek palettes as they seem so convenient. The swatches look a little light, but probably perfect for me as I don’t like to wear heavy blush or bronzer :-)

They are pretty light. But it does make for a nice more natural look. :)
This collection looks so pretty! I’ve seen it circulating through my favorite YouTubers haha. And who could say no to Kate?! Good to know it’s actually a decent product as well. Hard to tell with drugstore stuff! Hope you had a great weekend lady. :)
