I’m officially back! I’m so sorry! This move took longer than I excepted. I kept trying to make it over to my computer to at least respond to comments, but then I’d get sidetracked. I’m just one of those people who needs to have everything put away and neatly organized/clean or I won’t be able to focus on work. I’ll be thinking of those boxes stacked along the wall that need unpacking. I feel so much better now that everything is very neatly put away. Of course I now have a pile of work on my desk. And I’m sure that I’ve already run out of makeup storage. So it looks like I’ll need to make another trip to Ikea.
I’ll have to post all about the new place. I still have to get a few more organizers mainly for the kitchen and pantry. I also have to figure out how to effectively mount curtain rods to these walls. They don’t take to nails or screws as easily as I’d hoped. Even the screws with built in anchors. I’m tempted to just skip the curtains in the living room because the last thing I need is another stripped hole in the wall. I should probably just stick to blogging. Either way, I’ll try and get some photos up soon.
Now that I’ve got that out of the way, here is last month’s Ipsy Glam Bag. An Instagram friend had sent me a bag and I was so impressed with it that I decided to sign back up. Seriously, this one is a winner! The actual bag is super cute. I love the little ticket stub!
First up is Hey Honey Bésame Mucho. I guess it’s a lip balm that doubles as an overnight lip mask.
I was most excited about the OFRA Cosmetics Peach Blush. I’ve heard SO much about the brand and their products that I couldn’t wait to try something. Only I didn’t know where to start. This blush was a great introduction. This nifty blush can also be used as a highlighter or eyeshadow. It can also be applied wet. It swatched beautifully! It’s so soft and buttery! And the shade is just gorgeous! I can’t wait to try it!
The Hanalei Aloe Soothing Gel sounds like it’ll come in handy. Ipsy says that aloe is naturally regenerative so it will help balance out any redness or uneven skin tone. It also claims that the gel texture makes for a killer makeup primer.
I don’t think I’ve tried much from Ciaté London. So I was also excited to see the Ciaté London Mini Bamboo Bronzer in Palm Island included in my bag. The packaging is really cute and the bronzer itself is really pretty and nicely pigmented.
The Hikari Cosmetics Cream Pigment Eyeshadow in Honey Dew is gorgeous! It’s so creamy! This gorgeous eyeshadow can also be used as a highlighter. And it sure does look like it would make for a beautiful highlighter!
Overall, I’m very impressed with this bag. I’m happy with everything I received and I seriously can’t wait to try out each and every item.
