Swatches: Base, Contour, Lid, Crease, Specialty, Liner

A few weeks back my local store was having a buy one get one free makeup sale. I felt that was the perfect time to try some drugstore goodies. Thankfully everything worked out for me and I didn’t end up with any duds. For now I’ll talk about this nice find.

The colors in the Milani Everyday Eyes in Earthy Elements really stood out to me. I’m pretty sure it was that orange shade! But the bronze shades are just as beautiful! I was really surprised at the quality of this palette. A few of the shades were a little on the powdery side, but those bronze shades are buttery soft! The shadows are all nicely pigmented. A few of them only required one swipe! The others did require some building up, but it built up nicely. They all applied and blended beautifully! Including the liner shade. Actually, when I applied the liner shade I wet my brush a bit to make the color stand out more. I also used a white base before applying the lid shade. Then I pat the shadow onto my lid and built it up a bit. I did experience a little creasing after about 8-9 hours of wear. But my look was still going pretty strong. You can see my look below.

I used the Contour, Lid, Crease, Specialty, and Liner shades. I used the Base shade on the inner corner of my eye. This cute little palette also comes with a dual-ended brush for application and blending. I didn’t use it because I don’t usually use brushes included in palettes. But I imagine it would be useful if you were traveling or something. Overall I’m pretty impressed with this palette. It was a nice little find and it was fun experimenting with it.
