If I had to choose just one makeup item to wear it would probably be lipstick. Of course I love all makeup, but I think lipstick is the one I’d feel lost without. In fact in the midst of moving I took some time out of packing to purchase a few liquid lipsticks from a new launch. Because I needed more things to pack up. I do this a lot. Anyway, while it’s no secret that I love me some liquid lipstick, I can appreciate a really nice traditional tube of lipstick. Like these beauties from Runway Rogue!
Runway Rogue is a new-to-me company that was founded by 90’s supermodel Patricia Hartmann. Patricia carefully crafted each and every shade of her limited edition collection of lipsticks, glosses, and lip pencils. They’re formulated with hydrating oils and extracts to pamper your lips and keep them supple and soft. I’ll be reviewing the Lipsticks in the shades Afterparty and Fashionista.
Runway Rogue Lipstick in Afterparty $21.00
Afterparty is described as a deep midnight purple with a matte finish. It’s not your typical matte as it does have a bit of a sheen to it. And there’s none of that drying out the lips business either since it’s nice and creamy. This baby glided onto my lips effortlessly. It made for one of the most comfortable wears ever! It’s also one of the prettiest shades in my collection.
Runway Rogue Lipstick in Fashionista $21.00
Fashionista is described as a burnt dusty rose with a satin finish. I feel like this one looks a little more coral than rose on me. Either way it’s a gorgeous shade and I haven’t been able to put it down yet! It applied just as beautifully as Afterparty and also made for a comfortable wear. Fashionista wasn’t as long-lasting as Afterparty, but it was still surprisingly long-lasting.
These beauties are winners in my book! Right down to the sleek gray packaging. They’ve got a little weight to them and have magnetic caps. There aren’t many shades to choose from at the moment, but I love the 2 shades I’ve tried. I’ll probably tuck Afterparty away for Fall or maybe a dinner date. Fashionista will continue to get use throughout Spring. It’s seriously the perfect Spring shade and I just can’t get enough of it!
Have you heard of Runway Rogue? Do any of the shades catch your eye?
