I’m so sorry about the lack of new posts around here. As I said in my last few posts I’m in the process of moving. I know I said that things would run rather smoothly during the move, but I sort of put the brakes on all of that. I really hate when my posts go live and I’m not here to respond to comments. I’m going to try really hard to get my two weekly posts up while responding to comments, but if I can’t I’ll try to at least get the one post up. I’ll also be catching up on your blogs. I know I’ve fallen behind on that too. I promise to catch up though!
I promise that there are big things coming! I have about a hundred items on my desk that I can’t wait to talk about. It sucks that by the time I get around to it it will no longer be new. But let’s face it, that’s never stopped me before. While I enjoy talking about shiny, new and exciting things, I’ve been known to talk about Holiday items well into Spring. Yeah, be on the lookout for that! But I’m a very thorough person and I like to take my time when testing out new items. I suppose I could always just slap some stuff up and call it a day, but that’s just not what my blog is all about. It’s always been about my own personal experiences with products I truly love. And I like that to shine through all of my posts. I hope you all understand.
I’m pretty excited about this move. The apartment we’re currently in was only supposed to be temporary. I guess we got a little too comfortable because that temporary stay lasted almost 3 years! But a lot has changed these past few months and we had to move closer to where my husband works. The area is really nice and I hear nothing but great things about the schools. I’m also excited to hear that there are lots of walkers in the area. Maybe I can finally get back on track and get those steps in. Last year was a very hard year for me and I wasn’t nearly as active and I should have been. Anyway, the house itself is just perfect! It’s not too big and not too small. It’s everything I was looking for in a home. Honestly, the only downside for me is the lack of a basement. While tornados are pretty rare they do happen. So I have slight anxiety about that. Otherwise the place is perfect for us! I got lots of good vibes walking through the place. Lots of positive energy which is just what we need. Be on the lookout for photos once we’re completely settled in.
Things should return to my regular schedule starting on Monday. Thank you for understanding! And thank you for continuing the check in on Midwest Glam! It really means a lot to me!
The featured photo is of the new handbag my husband got for me earlier this week. Isn’t it the cutest?
