It’s been a little while since my last post. I do have lots and lots of stuff to share, but if I’m being completely honest I’ve been in a bit of a dark place lately. I’m fighting my way out though. I’m blessed to have such wonderful, loving, supportive people in my life who give me that little push when I need it. I’m not gonna lie, this beautiful Charlotte Tilbury package perked me up quite a bit too.
I’ve never reviewed Charlotte Tilbury here at Midwest Glam. I’ve certainly heard a lot about the brand. Siobhán from beautylymin.com has mentioned Charlotte Tilbury quite a bit. I always tell her how I’m going to add everything to my wishlist. Problem is I add so much to my wishlist and only end up purchasing my essentials. On the plus side I’m making good on my low-buy.
Here is a breakdown of everything I got to try.
Charlotte’s Magic Cream $64.00
I’ve only recently started using this so I can’t really review it. My first impression is that the packaging is beautiful and elegant. The cream has a very light powdery/floral scent which I didn’t find bothersome. So far I haven’t experienced any negative side effects and as we all know I have very sensitive skin.
Filmstar Bronze & Glow in Light To Medium $68.00
The Filmstar Bronze & Glow has to be the most beautiful contour/highlighter palette I’ve ever seen! The packaging is stunning! The powders are silky smooth. And the shades are absolutely perfect for my skin tone. The contour blended out beautifully. I sometimes have a hard time blending out contour shades. They can look a little muddy. That was so not the case with this one. The highlighter doesn’t look like it offers much of a glow in the pan, but once I applied it I could see I was wrong. This beauty offers a serious glow with just one sweep!
Cheek To Chic in Ecstasy $40.00
The Cheek To Chic in Ecstasy is a two-toned peach/pink powder blush. This was also silky smooth and nicely pigmented. I’m sad that my swatch doesn’t really do this blush justice. I hope my face swatch shows it off better. This is a gorgeous every day shade. It might be too soon to tell, but don’t be surprised if this beauty ends up in my 2019 Favorites.
Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk $34.00
Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk is described as a dreamy nude pink with a matte finish. This lipstick is incredibly creamy and glides onto lips so effortlessly. The angled tip makes application so much easier. It was a very comfortable wear and easy to reapply. Which is a good thing because it does wear off after a few short hours. I feel like it holds up better with the lip liner though.
Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk $22.00
Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk is a nude pink lip liner. It pairs nicely with Matte Revolution in Pillow Talk. I don’t really wear lip liner, but this was was surprisingly pleasant to work with. It glided on so easily. I would even wear this on its own!
The Feline Flick in Panther $30.00
The Feline Flick in Panther is a black liquid eyeliner pen. I like the design of the pen. It allows for a comfortable grip. The tip is fine enough to create the perfect wing. Unfortunately this eyeliner didn’t work for me. I was worried when it bled in the swatches, but I didn’t experience any bleeding during application. However, it dries out way too fast. I barely made it through one wing before it started to tug. At that point it just gave out. I had to put the cap back on and wait a few minutes. Even then the other eye yielded a grayish wing rather than the almost black from my first attempt. I’m pretty bummed because it does stay put and looks pretty amazing even after a long day. But going in for a wing is tricky business. I need consistency in my eyeliner. I can’t have it drying out mid-application. That’s not cool.
Full Fat Lashes in Glossy Black $29.00
Full Fat Lashes in Glossy Black is a 5-in-1 mascara that is said to give your lashes curl, separation, volume, length, and drama. Application was very easy. The brush picks up just the right amount of product. It did a great job at separating, lengthening, and curling. However, I wasn’t getting much of the volume and drama. But not many mascaras give my natural lashes that dramatic look. If I want drama I have to fight with the falsies. That being said, I do love this mascara. It’s so lightweight! Usually I can feel my mascara on. This one caused me to almost rub my eyes because I forgot I was even wearing it. Thankfully I didn’t. It’s probably the most comfortable mascara I’ve ever worn. I do wish it offered a bit more volume though. But I can live with the long curly lashes it provided me with.
You can see a look I created wearing everything mentioned down below. I’m also wearing the highlighter from Bronze & Glow on the inner corner of my eyes.
Overall, I have to say that I’m impressed. I’ve always swooned over their packaging. It’s nice to know that the products perform just as beautifully. Aside from the Feline Flick that is. Unfortunately that one just isn’t for me. If I had to pick just one star of this lineup it would be between the blush and mascara. The contour palette is a very close second.
Have you tried any of these products? What is your favorite Charlotte Tilbury product?
Wow, am drooling over their packaging 😍 I would love to try that mascara and blush! Love the look you have created here ❤

Thank you so much! The packaging really is beautiful. :)
Thank you for the mention! I just love so many CT products! I have hit pan on both sides of Bronze & Glow and will definitely repurchase. I haven’t tried the liquid liner yet x
