Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree

Since I was unable to get my hands on any of the new ColourPop Ultra Matte Lip products, I’ve turned to another release I’m super excited about. The new shades joining the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick line next month. I’ve got my list and I’m ready to go! While I anxiously await the new shades I figured it was time to pull out some of the older shades and show them some love.
My love/addiction for liquid matte lipsticks started with Kat Von D’s Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks. Last year I purchased 3 shades. I thought I posted one of them, but it must have been one of those posts I lost shortly after taking my website down. Anyway, it all started when I saw the amazing Jeffree Star rocking Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Jeffree. I knew I needed that lipstick in my life. I remember messaging my friend on Facebook telling her how we needed to order it ASAP. And we did. I also ordered Berlin and L.U.V. Those will be posted soon.
Jeffree is described as a hot pink, long-wear, full-coverage liquid lipstick with a smooth, matte finish. It applied nice and evenly and lasted the whole day! That’s what I love about these lipsticks. I can eat, drink, and not have to worry about my lipstick fading. Jeffree was a little more drying, but it wasn’t so bad. I always prep my lips well beforehand (lip scrub and lip balm) and that really helps with the even application and overall comfort throughout the day. You can see Jeffree in action below.
Are you looking forward to the new Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks? What’s on your list? My list (at the moment) is Bow ‘n’ Arrow, Requiem, Susperia, Exorcism, and Mother.
I tried the red Bachelorette and I really liked the formula! Jeffree is such a beautiful pink although to me it doesn’t quite look hot pink on you. I really love this type of pink but I wonder if it would wash me out considering my complexion is many shades darker than you. Swatch test, here I come!

It really doesn’t, does it? I kinda like it this way though. I’m not sure if I would have been able to pull of a more truer HOT pink.
I really enjoy Kat Von D as a brand but haven’t purchased anything from her in a long while. Maybe I should start with these lipsticks? Liquid lipsticks aren’t typical my favorite formulation but I’m willing to make exceptions now and again. Beautiful color! xo

That’s a very lovely color! I haven’t tried these Kat Von D lipsticks yet. In fact I haven’t used a matte liquid lipstick in… years maybe. I tend to have dry lips so they can be a little challenging for me. But it looks really beautiful on you and not flat like some mattes do.

Thank you, Becca! I start off with a lip scrub. I’ve tried a few. The e.l.f. one is good and comes in a tube so it’s less messy. Mostly I use one I purchased last year, it’s by Sara Happ. I thought it was the best thing in the world, but truthfully you can make your own for a fraction of the cost. I found that out later on lol. But after a nice scrubbing I just apply a light layer of balm. I have WAY too many lip balms. I mostly just use whatever is laying around. Like right now there’s a drug store cocoa butter lip balm at my desk so that’s been my go-to. It’s just moisturizing enough without messing with the texture of the lipsticks.
I can’t go on Instragram without seeing stunning Kat Von D Swatches. Gah! I’m never followed her as a celebrity, but she’s got one of the best collaboration brands out there – so impressed with the pictures of the new neon shadows I’m seeing.
Anyway, love this shade on you! I’ve one like it from Bourjois and it’s basically never off my lips.
I’ve been a little fangirl for YEARS! I used to watch her tattoo shows back in the day. I was so excited when she started a makeup line. And those shadows are amazing, aren’t they? Crazy pigmented!

I actually haven’t been there since the day of the release. I wonder when they plan to restock. But with more swatches rolling out I’ve definitely scratched more shades off my list. I’m down to a few shades now. Maybe one or two. :(
Have swatches come out already?? Who are these exclusive people, I want to know?! Well, CP just released four LE shades, one blush and three eyeshadows, so… Something to appease us while they hastily restock the liquid lippies? Lol.

Yes! Do you have an Instagram account? ColourPopCult, trendmood1, temptalia, and even some vloggers on YouTube. SO many swatches! My list is definitely smaller now. But I might jus have to see for myself.
