Ahhh! Velvetines! I could easily buy each and every single shade. And if you know me you know that I probably will. I’m such a sucker for liquid lipsticks. I see one and I want it. Or need it. Definitely need.
I have been wanting Cashmere for the longest time. But when I went to order my Venus Palette I saw Faded and decided on that shade instead. Faded is described as a light mauve. I seem to have a thing for mauve these days, huh? The applicator was super soft and made for the perfect application. It applied perfectly and I didn’t even have to use my lip brush! Also, it smelled like cake! Sweet, delicious, cake!
For the most part this was in fact long lasting. But it did start to fade around 6-7 hours. It was very comfortable and lightweight. Faded is definitely a winner in my book. I love everything about this lipstick. And the packaging is just too pretty! I seriously cannot get enough of Lime Crime’s packaging. I have to say that their packaging is easily one of the prettiest. I’ll definitely purchase a few more of these. I’m thinking I need True Love in my life.

I recently noticed I don’t have many mauve lipsticks and I really need to start picking up a couple to try. This looks so sweet and lovely on you but I personally don’t support Lime Crime so I’ll need to look for a dupe for this.

The last few lipsticks I have purchased have been mauve. Kinda digging mauve lately. I hear Sephora’s Marvelous Mauve is a really good dupe!
I LOVE that lip color!!! It fits you so good! I don’t care if it’s by LC. Makeup is makeup and any brand is going to have their problems!! There’s always SOMETHING about any makeup brand. People complain too damn much just enjoy the damn makeup! Lol just my thought ;)
Thanks, Steph! I was a little hesitant about posting it, but when I started this blog it was about showing my pretty makeup and the looks I created with it. I dunno. I just felt it was too pretty and decided to share it after all. The things I post won’t always be a fit for everyone and that’s ok. <3

Yeah some shades are definitely not something I’d normally wear, but they still look like a lot of fun. :)

That’s really a beautiful shade! I’ve never bought anything from Lime Crime, their reputation is not very good I think so I’ve been a little hesitant.
