By now y’all should know my love for LORAC. Sure, I have come across some things that just haven’t worked for me (hey you can’t win ’em all). But for the most part it’s just a reliable brand for me. So reliable that I was willing to hunt their products down and wouldn’t stop until I got what I wanted. Good times.

The Dream Girl Palette is super pretty and screams Summer! Look at those shadows! So many pretty colors! Even the packaging is pretty. Anyway, there are 10 shadows which you can easily use to create a number of neutral or bold looks. The shadows are soft and blend effortlessly. You can see a look I created with this beauty below.

For my first look I went with a more bold look. Well, bold for me anyway. After applying my primer I applied a white base. Then I applied the 6th shade on my lid, the 2nd shade in my crease, the 4th shade on my lower lash line (I dampened my brush with some MAC Fix+ before application), the 9th shade on the inner corner of my eye, and the 10th shade on my brow bone. The white base really makes the purple stand out more. I use NYX’s Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as my white base.

Note: I wouldn’t pair that eye look with that shade of lipstick. I was testing out the lipstick and forgot to change it for the photo shoot. Oops?

    • Awww thanks, Linda! I really wasn’t digging it. Not sure if it’s because I already had another one picked out or what. Glad it doesn’t look too bad lol. :)

  4. That palette really does have SUMMER written all over it! I must be the only one in the beauty world who hasn’t try any Lorac palette, it’s just so pricey and hard for me to justify the price. LOL!

    • It really does scream Summer! You know, sometimes LORAC is on HauteLook and the prices are like HALF of their regular prices. Keep an eye out. I’ve gotten so many great deals. And LORAC pops up on that site quite a bit too.

  5. I loooooove the eye look, amazing blending work! I love the color you used in your crease.

  6. So pleased to have found your blog :) The pictures gorgeous. I’m holding out for Lorac to land in Ireland, I keep hearing that the blushes are amazing.

    • Awww thank you! I have a few of their blushes and I really like them! Their eye palettes are my favorites though.

      Thanks for visiting, Lorraine! :)

  7. That Lorac palette is fab! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love your pictures. They’re so bright, cheery and colourful!

  8. Lol! I was just going to comment on how I loved your lipstick, too. It’s a beautiful eye look, and again your eyeliner is applied perfectly. <3

This looks like a really fun palette, the white shade is so visible. =o How you set the first photo up is so cute and fun, you really have a great eye for that sort of thing. The bracelets, flowers, and rollerball fit in with it so perfectly.

    • Awww thank you so much, Zovesta! <3 :) I think I was just bothered because I had already set something aside to complete the look. Then after I photographed my eye look I realized I forgot to change my lip color.

I really like setting everything up to photograph. It's nice to just have fun with it all.
