Last week I did a little shopping with the hubby. I stopped by Sephora and the NARS And God Created The Woman palette caught my eye. I swatched it and immediately fell in love. I NEEDED this palette! My smile quickly faded when I saw that there were no palettes left in stock. I asked if they maybe had one hidden somewhere (hey, you never know!) and they didn’t. I really have to remember to check to see if products are in stock before swatching and ultimately falling in love with said product. Luckily I was able to find this gorgeous palette online and even got some extra goodies as a bonus. I also used my Wrapp gift cards so I didn’t even have to pay full price! See what happens when you’re patient and wait it out?

Would you believe me if I told you that I don’t own a single NARS eyeshadow? I’ve been missing out! These shadows are gorgeous! They’re velvety soft and so pigmented. They blended easily and lasted all day with very little to no creasing or fading. And it’s appropriate to wear to work. Looks like my Naked Basics palette has some competition!

Here’s a look I created with this gorgeous palette! I’m also wearing the Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara.

  1. Hey Lisa Marie, I was really looking at this one as well! Love the look you created with it! I just wish I could swatch this. I’m getting picky about neutrals because I own so many of them!

  2. So, I’m definitely a neutrals kinda person, so that palette is right up my alley. I need it. Even if I just picked up the UD Naked Basics (after convincing myself that, yes, I should totally have *more* neutrals).

    • I was right there, man. Right there with you. But it really is a must have in my book. I love it. And like Naked Basics it’s one of those things you don’t have to fuss with. I get up at 5:30 AM to get ready for work and I don’t have to stress over what to wear. I can just reach for either of the 2 and end up with a work friendly look that never disappoints. Annnd it still looks damn good by the time I get home. It’s perfect!
